AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 62, Chapter 32, Part 3, relative to alarm systems contractors.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 62-32-305, is amended by adding the following as a new subsection:

( ) The sale or installation of delayed egress locks by a company when such locks are used to detect and monitor the wandering of residents of a nursing home.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
