AN ACT To amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 47, Chapter 25, relative to trademarks.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 47-25-501(a)(6), is amended by adding the following language between the semicolon and the word "and":

"Trademark" also includes the words, names, symbols, emblems, signs, insignias, or any combination thereof, of the United States Olympic Committee or the International Olympic Committee;

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
