AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 63 and Title 68, relative to the Primary Health Care Centers Advisory Board.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding the provisions of Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-29-112, or any other law to the contrary, the Primary Health Care Centers Advisory Board, created by Section 68-1-701, shall terminate and shall cease all activities upon the effective date of this act.

(b) Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 68-1-701, is amended by deleting subsections (b), (c) and (d) in their entirety.

SECTION 2. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 63-7-123(b)(1), is amended in the first sentence by deleting the language "Primary Care Advisory Board pursuant to § 68-1-701(d)" and by substituting instead the language "board."

SECTION 3. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 63-7-123(b)(4), is amended by deleting the language "the Primary Care Advisory Board" and by substituting instead the language "authorized agents of either board".

SECTION 4. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 63-19-106(a)(2), is amended in the third sentence by deleting the language "the Primary Care Advisory Board" and by substituting instead the language "the authorized agents of the board or the committee".

SECTION 5. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 63-19-107(2)(C), is amended in the first sentence by deleting the language "Primary Care Advisory Board pursuant to § 68-1-701(d)" and by substituting instead the language "committee".

SECTION 6. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 63-19-107(2)(D), is amended by deleting the language "Primary Care Advisory Board" wherever they appear and by substituting instead the language "board and committee".

SECTION 7. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 63-19-107(2), is amended by deleting subdivision (F) in its entirety.

SECTION 8. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
