AN ACT To amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 13, Chapter 20, relative to housing authorities.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 13-20-410, is amended by deleting the section in its entirety.

SECTION 2. Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 13, Chapter 20, Part 4, is amended by adding the following language as a new, appropriately designated section:

All commissioners, officers and employees of housing authorities are subject to the conflict of interest provisions contained in Tennessee Code Annotated, Sections 12-4-101 and 12-4-102.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
