AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 7, Chapter 82, Part 3, relative to the per diem payments for the commissioners of certain utility districts.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 7-82-308(a)(1), is amended by deleting from the last sentence the language "three hundred dollars" ($300) and substituting instead the language "five hundred dollars ($500)".
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
