Substituted for: House Bill No. 190

AN ACT To amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Chapter 29 and Title 71, Chapter 5, relative to the medical care advisory committee.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-29-218(a), is amended by deleting item (7) in its entirety.

SECTION 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-29-112, or any other law to the contrary, the medical care advisory committee, created by Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 71-5-120, shall terminate and shall cease all activities upon the effective date of this act.

SECTION 3. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 71-5-120, is amended by deleting such section in its entirety.
