AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 41-4-133, relative to certification of sheriff's bills by the clerks of court.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 41-4-133, is amended by deleting the existing language in its entirety and substituting instead the following:

The clerk of the court shall then file such bills of the sheriff, together with the affidavit of the sheriff, whose signature shall be certified in writing under seal of office as authentic by the clerk of the court on the face of the document and then the sheriff or the clerk shall forward the same to the proper authorities for payment.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
