AN ACT To amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 2-7-116, relative to disabled voters.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 2-7-116, is amended by adding the following new subdivision (c):
(c) A physically disabled voter may, at the discretion of the officer of elections, be moved to the front of any line at the polling place.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
