AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 50, Chapter 6, relative to occupational diseases.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 50-6-305(b), is amended by inserting the language "or resulting from an asbestos-related disease or" between the language "to" and "coal".

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
