Substituted for: House Bill No. 1769

AN ACT To amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 48, Chapter 14, relative to assumed names for corporations.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 48-14-101(d)(3), is amended by deleting the second sentence of the subdivision in its entirety.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
