AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 7-87-105, relative to the residency requirements for the Board of Commissioners of Port Authorities.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 7-87-105(a)(1), is amended by deleting the words "shall be residents of the municipality and who".

SECTION 2. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 7-87-105(d), is amended by deleting the word "nonresidency":

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
