AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 66-29-151(a), to transfer designated funds to the general fund.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 66-29-151(a), is amended by adding the following language at the end of the sub-section:

Notwithstanding any language in this section to the contrary, the sum of $1,600,000 which remained in the Health Access Incentive Account on June 30, 1996, shall be transferred to the general fund.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
