NHPRC Grants
NHPRC Grant Proposal Guidelines and Application The THRAB encourages applications for NHPRC grants from colleges and universities, historical societies, local goverments and other agencies or institutions which collect and preserve historical records. Parties interested in applying for an NHPRC grant may contact the NHPRC directly or visit the websites below: Kathleen Williams, Executive Director Obtaining an NHPRC Grant Through THRAB In order to participate in the grants program of the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC), each state is required to have an active state historical records advisory board. Applicants should submit proposals to the THRAB coordinator who in turn will schedule a review by the Board. As a result of this screening process, some proposals may require revision prior to submission to the NHPRC. Categories and submission deadlines for Board review may be found at the NHPRC web site at www.archives.gov/nhprc/announcement/ For more information on grant opportunities, or to submit an application to the Board, please contact: Dr. Wayne C. Moore
